  • Allegiant has steadily expanded operations and flight service out of Appleton within the decade because it began flying between Appleton and Las Vegas.

GREENVILLE – Allegiant Air will start continuous flights between Appleton Worldwide Airport and Portland Worldwide Airport in Oregon this summer time.

Allegiant introduced Monday it’s going to provide two flights every week between Appleton and Portland from June 15 to Aug. 13. The Appleton-Portland service was considered one of eight new routes the ultra-low-cost airline introduced Monday. Others embrace service between Denver and Allentown, Pa.; Austin and Omaha, Neb.; and Chicago and Provo, Utah.

Portland would be the eleventh vacation spot and Oregon the seventh state Allegiant flies to out of Appleton. The airline already provides seasonal service from Appleton to Denver, Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Fort Myers/Punta Gorda, Las Vegas, Nashville, Orlando/Sanford, Phoenix/Mesa, Sarasota/Bradenton, Savannah/Hilton Head and Tampa/St. Petersburg space airports.
